Privacy & Medical Records
Your medical record is a confidential document. It is the policy of the Practice to maintain security of personal health information at all times and to ensure that this information is only available to authorised members of staff.
The Practice adheres to the National Privacy Principles. Speak to reception if you have a question about our practice policies, obtain a copy of our privacy policy, or to discuss if you need to allow access to your medical information to a third party e.g. family member or carer.
Patient Results
All test results and correspondence received by IFMC are checked by the doctor who ordered the tests as soon as received.
Patients requiring immediate action in relation to test results will be contacted by the Practice to arrange an urgent consultation so that they can discuss the test results with their Doctor.

IFMC is committed to providing preventative health care and participates in government reminder systems and registers.

If you aren't receiving SMS reminders from the practice and would like to, please inform reception and ensure they have your current mobile telephone number and official consent.
