Dr Talbot graduated in Medicine from the University of Otago in 1992 and subsequently completed his Basic Surgical Training at St Vincent’s Hospital Sydney, with Advanced Training occurring at St George, St Vincent’s, and Liverpool Hospitals. After becoming a Fellow of the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons in 2001, he worked as the Lister Lecturer in Upper Gastrointestinal Surgery at The Glasgow Royal Infirmary before further cancer and obesity surgery training in Munich, Los Angeles, Brisbane, Adelaide and Wellington. He commenced his consultant work in 2003 at St George and Wollongong Hospitals, consolidating to St George Hospital in 2005. Greater than 90% of his work is comprised of oesophageo-gastric laparoscopy and endoscopy. As well as a large bariatric experience of over 3000 cases, he runs NSW's longest running high resolution oesophageal physiology lab and has extensive experience in management of hiatus hernia and reflux having performed over 600 operations as a consultant. As well as a busy ERCP practice, Dr Talbot has 10 years of experience in treating oesophageal and gastric cancers, and treats more cancers with endoscopic and laparoscopic techniques than standard open surgery.

Dr Yee is a specialist trained Upper Gastrointestinal and Bariatric Surgeon with a strong interest in laparoscopic surgery and research. Born in Malaysia, he undertook primary and secondary education in Brunei and Singapore before commencing Medicine at Sydney University. After completing Medicine in 1994, Dr Yee completed his general medical residency before starting work in surgical research in Australia. After time spent in surgical training in Scotland he joined the Royal Australasian College of Surgeons Training program in Sydney in 2005 and qualified as a General Surgeon in 2010. Subsequent to this he has spent time as a senior registrar in Bankstown Hospital and training in Upper GI Surgery in Malaysia.
After being selected for Subspecialty training by the Australia and New Zealand Gastro-Oesophageal Surgery Society (ANZGOSA) he undertook an Upper GI fellowship at Newcastle’s John Hunter, and Sydney’s St George Hospitals in 2011-12. Since 2013 he has been working as a consultant surgeon at St George and Sutherland hospitals. He operates at the Sutherland Hospital, Kareena Private Hospital, St George Private Hospital and the Sydney Private Hospital.

Claire Godsell - Clinical Psychologist

Claire is an experienced practitioner and she works with adults and young people across a wide range of issues. She provides comprehensive assessment and evidence-based psychological treatment for anxiety, depression and other mood-related disorders. She also works with people experiencing trauma, grief and loss, weight and eating problems, workplace issues and adjustment challenges. She has a keen interest in the areas of perinatal mental health, parenting, and family relationships.
Claire draws from a range of therapeutic perspectives to inform her practice and to personalise the experience of therapy with each person she works with. She incorporates mindfulness-based CBT, compassion-focused therapy, attachment-based and trauma-informed principles in her work.
Claire is a registered provider for Medicare, Workcover, CTP insurance & private health funds. She also works with NDIS participants.
Claire also offers clinical supervision and consultation and she is an accredited Board Approved Supervisor with the AHPRA Psychology Board of Australia.

Sandra is a member of the Australian Psychological Society (APS), Australian Psychologists and Counsellors in Schools (APACS) and Marriage & Relationships Educators Association of Australia (MAREAA). In her practice, Sandra works with adults and school aged children in the treatment of depression, anxiety, stress management, grief and loss, post-traumatic stress disorder, adjustment difficulties, and relationship issues. She is a registered provider for Medicare, Private Health Funds and Employee Assistance Program services.
Sandra is available on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays.

Lynne completed a Masters degree in Clinical Psychology in 1991. She works with adult clients facing an array of difficulties including depression, anxiety, insomnia, relationship problems, persistent pain, chronic health issues, and workplace and other life stressors. Lynne’s interest in psychology was driven by her own study and practice of mindfulness meditation, since 1975, which she incorporates into treatment and also teaches more widely. She is a registered provider for Medicare and Private Health Funds.
Lynne is available on Tuesdays.

Robyn is an experienced clinical psychologist. She provides individual counselling to adolescents and adults who suffer with anxiety, depression, panic attacks, low self esteem, substance abuse, self-harming behaviour and grief and loss. Robyn also works with clients who have difficulty coping with everyday stress and those who have experienced trauma such as childhood abuse, bullying and domestic violence.
Robyn is available on Thursdays.

Tracey is a registered clinical psychologist. She specializes in working with individual adults experiencing life changing illness. Including adjustment issues related to perisitent pain, chronic health conditions and work related injury. She is experienced in medical and rehabilitation psychology and uses a cognitive behavioural approach to treatment incorpaorating Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and mindfulness based cognitive therapy. Tracey is a registered medicare provider and workcover provider.

Maria is a Registered Psychologist and a Member of the Australian Psychological Society.
She works with adults, young people and children in the treatment of a variety of mental health issues including depression, anxiety, grief and loss, adjustment, stress, sleep issues and anger management.
She specialises in working with individuals impacted by childhood trauma, violence and sexual abuse who are seeking recovery. She also works with people experiencing relationship difficulties, parenting challenges and work related issues.
She provides clinical supervision and consultation and is a supervisor for provisional psychologists.
Maria’s treatment approaches are informed by systems theory, solution-focused therapy, trauma principles and psychotherapy.
Maria is available on Mondays and Thursdays.
Anna is a clinical psychologist with comprehensive experience and expertise working with adolescents and adults. Anna has worked in private practice since 2009. She completed her Masters of Psychology (Clinical) with distinction in 2012 and was awarded the Dean’s Medal for this degree.
Anna’s clinical specialty involves the assessment and treatment of anxiety disorders. She has a keen interest in Social Anxiety Disorder and OCD. Her other areas of practice includes the treatment of trauma/PTSD, insomnia, depressive disorders and adjustment difficulties.
Anna has extensive experience in adolescent mental health. Anna particularly enjoys working with adolescents and young adults and is committed to supporting them overcome the special challenges and adversities they face, to build on their strengths, develop resilience and realise their full potential.
Anna’s therapeutic style is warm, nonjudgmental and compassionate. She individually tailors treatment to the unique set of needs, interests and strengths of each client. Anna is passionate about mental health and is committed to keeping up to date with the latest clinical innovations, delivering evidence-based therapeutic interventions and using outcome data in therapy.
Anna’s main therapeutic approaches are Cognitive Behaviour Therapy and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy and she has also undertaken advanced training in Compassion Focussed Therapy.
She is a full member of the Australian Psychological Society.
